Frequently Asked Questions for lady in blue dress at inauguration Barbara Bush's Inaugural Gown, 1989 Tax_Day

What should I consider when choosing a skirt with an exposed zipper?

Read the care directions for the complete garment before cleaning. Look for a secured end stop at the fastening boundary.

What should I check before washing a skirt?

Follow any guidance about spin settings because vigorous spinning may be unsuitable for some constructions. Consider testing an approved stain product on an inconspicuous area when its directions call for a colorfastness check.

What should I consider before removing pills from a skirt?

A device advertised for clothing is not automatically appropriate for every skirt. If the garment is new, ask the seller about an unexpected surface problem before altering its condition.
